Is it normal to wash your hands so much after masturbating?

is it normal to wash your hands for like 5 mins after masturbating? I don;t know why, but i seem to scared of semen. Whenever I masturbate, I have to wash my hands for so long before i think they are clean. I keep assaulting them with soap, cleaning out every fingernail, cuticle, everything. i do this at least 3 times. Then I wash the sink twice. I even wash the faucet and the soap dispenser at least twice. Im pretty sure this is not normal, but I%26#039;m just scared some will be left over on my hands and could possible touch something. Please help|||It sounds like you have a obsessive compulsive disorder of some kind.

It%26#039;s good to wash your hands after masturbation but not to that extent. I%26#039;d have a word with your GP about it. This could get out of hand and lead to many social problems later. Good luck.|||This is a response to another question asked a while ago. These are not my words but the response is so good that I have copied it here for you. I believe you feel that mastribution wrong and excessive washing is a way to purify yourself again. Read on: %26quot;

READ THIS :- Masturbation. Most people do it 鈥?yet so many people worry about doing it! That%26#039;s because there are a lot of myths out there that masturbation is dirty, dangerous, or something to be embarrassed about doing. But the truth is, masturbation is safe and healthy, and it%26#039;s here to stay. People of all ages do it. Guys do it, and girls do it too. Single people and people in relationships do it. Some people do it a few times a day, and some do it a few times a year. Let%26#039;s get to the bottom of some of the masturbation myths that make people so anxious about being caught red-handed.

Myth #1: Masturbation is unhealthy.

Maybe you%26#039;ve heard that masturbation makes you blind or damages your sex organs. This couldn%26#039;t be further from the truth. Masturbation is not physically harmful in any way. In fact, it has a number of physical and mental health benefits 鈥?here are just a few:

Masturbation releases stress and physical tension. Many people masturbate to relax, and it can help some people fall asleep.

Orgasms 鈥?whether they%26#039;re from masturbation or sex play with a partner 鈥?can act as a natural painkiller. One study from 2001 found that orgasm can ease migraines faster than medication. Some women masturbate to relieve menstrual cramps. Research has also shown that orgasms may even prevent endometriosis, a disease of the uterine lining.

One recent study found that frequent ejaculation from masturbating may reduce a man%26#039;s chances of developing prostate cancer.

Plus, masturbation is the ultimate form of safer sex 鈥?there is no risk of pregnancy or infection.

Myth #2: Only people who can%26#039;t %26quot;get any%26quot; masturbate.

Here%26#039;s an interesting fact 鈥?people who have regular sex partners actually masturbate more often than those who don%26#039;t. Some people are concerned when they find out their partners masturbate 鈥?they wonder, %26quot;Why would someone masturbate when they could just have sex? Does this mean that my partner isn%26#039;t attracted to me?%26quot; But many people 鈥?both in relationships and single 鈥?masturbate when their partners are unavailable. Some use masturbation as a kind of %26quot;dress rehearsal,%26quot; to learn more about what they find pleasurable. People can learn about their bodies through masturbating, and this can help them communicate better with their partners about what they enjoy sexually.

Myth #3: Girls don%26#039;t masturbate.

Some people think that it%26#039;s OK for guys to masturbate and have sex, but that girls shouldn%26#039;t. Unfortunately, our society is often more comfortable with men expressing their sexuality than with women, so many girls are taught not to masturbate 鈥?or not to admit to doing it. But the truth is, girls and women do masturbate, and there%26#039;s no reason they shouldn%26#039;t. In fact, one study showed that women who masturbate have higher self-esteem than those who don%26#039;t.

Myth #4: It%26#039;s bad to masturbate every day.

Some people masturbate every day 鈥?or even more than once a day. That%26#039;s fine. So is there such a thing as %26quot;too much%26quot; masturbation? According to counselors, it%26#039;s only when masturbation gets in the way of daily activities 鈥?like going to school or work, or meeting friends 鈥?that it would be considered %26quot;too much.%26quot; And not many people have that problem. Also, some people worry that masturbating frequently will affect a girl%26#039;s fertility or a guy%26#039;s ability to produce sperm. It doesn%26#039;t. A guy may find that he has less volume of semen if he ejaculates frequently, and his semen may contain less sperm. But that doesn%26#039;t mean that his sperm count will be reduced in the future. The testicles produce and store sperm beginning at puberty, and sperm production continues through most of adult life.

So forget those rumors of hairy palms and shrinking penises. Masturbation is a safe and healthy way to relieve sexual tension, explore our sexuality, and discover what feels good. Let%26#039;s give ourselves a hand 鈥?or two!

Do you wash your hands before using the Remote Control for the TV in your bedroom each morning?

We must have different habits.

The t.v. in the bedroom is turned on at night.

I drift off into sleepy land with it on.

The t.v. in the living room is on in the morning so I can have my coffee and see what the rest of the world has been up to.

And yes, my hands have been washed.|||Hi Alana i%26#039;m an auld Scots tinker that%26#039;s never had a wash in years and smells to high heaven ( only joking :o) ) I am very particular about my hygiene and forever washing my hands don%26#039;t watch TV until 5pm but at least my hands are clean for breakfast after a shower and shave the remote gets wiped with a dettol wipe every day which kills 99.5% of germs well at least that%26#039;s what the package says .|||I do, Alana. I usually wake up, go to the loo, then after I wash my hands, I go turn on the telly to see what the days weather is going to be like. I always wash my hands after using the loo, so I would say that means I wash my hands before using the remote.|||Oh yeah, because we all wake up, immediately wash our hands, then put on the tv. WTF? Is this supposed to be like..innuendo? Because it%26#039;s not funny or clever and doesn%26#039;t make sense.

No one even washes their hands before using a remote, ever. Unless they just spilled something, and even then.|||No|||Should i?

Is this meant to sound rudee?|||No..Do you?|||No, because I don%26#039;t have a TV in my bedroom.

Do you only wash your hands after using a public bathroom if there are other people around?

This is more for guys because we well, take leaks differently. But as far as I go, if the restroom is empty, I%26#039;ll just take a quick piss at the urinal and then head out. If there are others around, I%26#039;ll quickly wash my hands so as not to seem dirty.

And before everyone goes %26quot;eww you don%26#039;t wash your hands?%26quot; I firmly believe that my urine excretion device is much cleaner than the handles on the faucets, the paper towel dispensers or air hand dryers, and the door. So I would probably be getting more germs on my hands after washing. Unless of course the restroom has the motion detecting sinks/dryers.

Of course, I only do this when I%26#039;m in a hurry at school or at work. I HAVE to wash my hands before I eat any meals to be able to enjoy them, especially out in public (sometimes if I make something small and easy at home that only requires a utensil to eat, I%26#039;ll skip it). And if there%26#039;s any %26quot;splashing%26quot; during my urinal usage, I will definitely wash.|||lmao, I do that alot. my old friend used to be like, %26quot;eww you don%26#039;t wash your hands?%26quot; when she was in the bathroom with me i was like ugh. it used to piss me off so much. I really don%26#039;t get why you need to wash your hands. I don%26#039;t touch anything in a public bathroom, and if i had to wash my hands, the sink faucet would have way more germs than anything else so that would make you have to wash your hands. i kick the stall door open, and i flush the toilet with my foot too.|||dun obviosly, YES!!!!!

if we would live in society w/out STD HIV/AIDS it wouldn%26#039;t be different you never know what people are lurking at public restrooms.|||I always wash my hands,I mean what if you get some french fries whos hands are you going to use to eat them?|||I always wash my hands. Not only to protect others, but also because you never know what germs your hands have picked up from the flush handle, and I want them washed off of me.|||Why would you wash your hands if nobody was there to see?|||Well I%26#039;m not a guy but I am guilty of doing this in my past. Then about 10 years ago I was in a McDonalds restroom, when a woman came out of a stall, walked to the mirror, put her MCDONALD%26#039;S visor on, and walked out the door. I was standing right beside her and she made no attempt to even pretend to wash her hands and then proceeded to go out and prepare those tasty burgers. That was a life changing moment for me. I wash my hands thoroughly, always. Even in the middle of the night when I get out of bed to pee!|||Hello,

Like Chinese proverb say, he who scratch a ss should not bite nails! Always wash hands after using the bathroom. The pros outweigh the cons.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

What have you decided to wash your hands off?

Of i have decided to wash my hands off many things, that i no longer consider to be of benefit within my life, once i do that i never look back..... What is it for you? and why?|||Hateful people I am just sick to death of the crap|||my boyfriends three children. They give me no respect and so I%26#039;ve decided not to be with them this summer (no school) they%26#039;ll call to go to the mall, their friends, skating, practice, etc

No can do, my hands are washed off of them!|||Being negative.|||answering questions about JR

answering questions by the snarling newbies

answering questions of implied racism|||All these broke @ss friends and zero their loans out and never loan again.|||i have decided that i will leave me having a baby up to God thats what i wash my hands of i try so hard and im not infertal so i pray that when its the right time let it happen i would rather have a healthy baby at the right time then one with problems at the wrong time.|||John|||By deciding not to watch Fox news ever again, and I%26#039;ve benefitted greatly.|||Well I%26#039;d love to wash my hands off of ever having come into contact with something such as yourself but that%26#039;s literally impossible so I have chosen instead to embrace it.

P.S. Have you ever considered education? I know it%26#039;s pricey nowadays BUT taking in a couple extra %26#039;fares%26#039; might do the %26#039;trick%26#039;... ha ha. GO AHEAD VIOLATE ME! I%26#039;ll be back.

Is it ok not to wash your hands with soap after you go to the restroom?

i was in a restaurant and they didnt have soap so just ate like that, is it ok if i did that?|||umm its not the best thing to do... but millions of people do that every day you wont die.... but its more sanitary to wash with soap when every they have it.. i like to carry hand sanitizer in my purse in case i run into that situation... but if not yea you will be fine.. :))|||Not really, but if there wasn%26#039;t any soap to use then what were you going to do?

You can get parasites, viruses, and bacteria from using the bathroom and then not washing your hands (warm water %26amp; soap!)|||It%26#039;s not the best solution. Water and friction of rubbing your hands together will kill some germs without soap.|||That is your own business. If you work in a restaurant or in the medical field, however, not washing your hands poses a public health hazard. If you want to catch the flu, and you want to suffer, that is your own business (and the other people that gave it to you by not washing their hands).|||If you are a guy, and just did #1 without touching a toilet seat or flush handle, then there%26#039;s no problem. Healthy urine is germ-free, and that part of you has no more bacteria than the rest of your skin.

How many times a day do you wash your hands?

...|||maybe once if any|||whenever i need to, bathroom, before eating, when they%26#039;re dirty etc etc etc|||Two times|||whenever its necessary|||at least 15 times when it is a workday.

What diseases may you get if you don't wash your hands for a long period of time?

E Coli

Salmonella

Common Cold

Flu|||Pretty much anything that can be passed around.|||probably not a thing!|||it could be any! depends on the kind of germ u get inflicted with!
