Can you get salmonella from a snake even if you wash your hands?
I heard you can get salmonella from handling a snake, but not if you wash your hands afterwards. What if your snake crawls all over you? Do you have to wash every part that the snake touched? I have a ball python and he loves to go in my shirt and hair, so even if I wash my hands, if I touch my shirt and then my mouth, can I get sick?|||If he crawled all over everything, and you touched the part that he crawled over + put your hands in your mouth, yes of course you can. That%26#039;s no different than getting it on your hands directly and putting your hands in your mouth.
