Do you always wash your hands after changing your baby's diaper?

I have always washed my hands after changing my now 16 month old daughters diaper.|||for the most part yes..If I don%26#039;t have time to wash at the sink I pull out my water-less antibacterial out of the diaper bag and use that...same thing when I use the restroom...I find it disturbing when I see people go to the bathroom and wipe their A$$ and not wash their hands..then they touch the door and then they touch other objects that I might touch...GROSS...|||I have been a mom for 29 years to 4 kids plus I am grandma to an 18 month old grandson and I have provided child care in my home for 21 years. I have changed thousands of diapers and yes, I do wash my hands after changing each one. I also wash my hands after wiping noses, helping with toileting, before and after preparing food, and after playing with our pets. I go through a lot of hand soap and a lot of hand lotion.|||After a really poopy.... especially if he is being difficult through it then yes, definitely. I do always have a bottle of hand sanitizer on the diaper changer.... I always use a squirt of that after a wet one though. I also really like the smell of my hand sanitizer... gives me something to look forward to during a diaper change... lol. When my son was a newborn I was a fanatic about it though.... I would sanitize... wash..... and then sanitize. |||I usually do... (especially after a poo)..But I wash my hands sooo much in a day..that if i dont get around to it right after changing him...I am usually going to wash them for something else within 5 mins. My hands get so dry in the winter..Because I would say I probably wash my hands every 30 mins in the day. But if I am cooking or baking I was them every few mins, because I cannot stand having anything on my hands.|||Back at the beginning I made sure I always did, but now with a 14 month old... if it%26#039;s just a wet diaper I let the hand washing slide. Granted I don%26#039;t wipe him if it%26#039;s just wet, so I really don%26#039;t get anything on me. That%26#039;s a lame excuse now that I think of it though. I probably sound disgusting. Ok, I plan on washing again no matter what :-)|||I can honestly say that I dont wash my hands everytime I change Natalee%26#039;s diaper. I have hand sanizer sitting with the diapers and ussually I just take a squirt of that and be done with it. But if it is a poopy diaper then yes I will go wash immediatly afterwards.|||Well My girlfriend has put a bottle of that antibacterial hand wash that you don%26#039;t need to use water with right by my daughters changing table so we usually use that after we change her, she even always keeps a smaller bottle in the baby%26#039;s diaper bag.|||Not always. for middle of the night diaper changes, I just use a wipe to clean my hands when I%26#039;m finished changing the diaper. I can%26#039;t bring myself to get up and go into the bathroom to wash my hands after every single change, but I always use the wipes. |||After a poopy diaper, yes. But if it is just a little pee, then no I don%26#039;t. It never really crossed my mind-I do it so many times in a day.





But I do constantly wash my hands throughout the day, like after eating and other things.|||No.......


If it%26#039;s an extreme blowout, or I get something on me, then yes. But, a quick wipe and dipe, and I%26#039;m on to something else, usually.





I%26#039;m either very gross, or the only one telling the truth.....LOL





|||Nope. I do keep some hand santizier handy and use that often, throughout the day.





However, urine is sterile, so I%26#039;m not concerned about germs after a pee diaper. :)|||honestly....nope, i do wipe my hands down with a wipe after changing him though. if i get poop or anything on ,me then i wash them. i was my hands MANY times a day though for other things. |||yes and if i was out and nowhere near a tap i used that antibacterial handwash stuff that evaporates on your hands.





my friend washes her hands then uses antibacterial moisturiser :oD|||no. i probably should though. i do use a baby wipe though. but sometimes i just wipe and go. i know, i%26#039;m gross.|||I bought that alcohol spray/gel stuff they have in hospitals and after every botty change I spray my hands with that to kill germs.


|||I honestly dont wash my hands after every single diaper change... especially the ones in the middle of the night. Unless of course it is a messy one!|||If I am in a hurry I don%26#039;t always go to a sink and wash with soap (usually I do though) but I always at least have that Germ-X.|||No not always. I usually use a wipe. If I change him in a public restroom and the sinks are right there then yes but usually I%26#039;m too busy for that.||| Honestly, no! (gross) But I make sure to always wash them before I prepare her bottle, so that%26#039;s a little less icky, right!?!|||only if its a poopy diaper.

I%26#039;ve gotten into the habit so I%26#039;m still constantly using it :)|||No, if it`s just pee I don`t. If it`s poop I wash them, especially since I rinse his diapers in the toilet.|||When I am babysitting, I always do. Its kind of like not washing your hands after going to the bathroom


|||Always. :)|||YES! If it%26#039;s just wet, then I will use the hand sanitizer. I will use the hand sanitizer on my baby as well.|||I do if I get poopy on my hands, but alot of times I forget to. It%26#039;s a good habit to get into though|||i try to, but with 4 kids sometimes something else comes up!!|||if i remember
